Escondido, California
Completed in 2005
The Felicita County Park Dance Pavilion was a retrofit of an existing dilapidated structure at the Felicita County Park. The existing structure was an under-utilized asset of the park, and was in the process of being overhauled by Van Dyke Landscape Architects. Bluemotif was asked to join in the redesign of the pavilion. The design concept for the new structure was to maintain the existing posts and beams while opening the structure up to the canopy of live oak native to the park.
