Matthew Elllis, founding principal of Bluemotif Architecture, defines the word architecture as a verb, calling to action creativity, functionality and construction. He prides himself on discovering unique solutions to client problems by incorporating his passion for global sustainability, artisan collaboration and innovative design. Marrying environmentally conscious materials with style and function has resulted in a long list of attractive, modern spaces.
Ellis has over 10 years of construction, architecture and design experience. He is a graduate of Ball State University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design. Prior to creating Bluemotif, he held positions at architectural firms such as Austin Veum Robbins Partners and Aurthur Dyson & Associates. His entrepreneurial spirit and passion for design has also led him to found several design/build firms including Paperstreet and FUSED as well as AXESS - a building code consulting firm.
